CSI supports the target goals of the Architecture 2030 Challenge and is working with other industry organizations in a united effort to meet those goals.
| If it's not in your construction documentation, it's not getting built. That's why CSI is important to any construction professional facing a project with green goals.
CSI has launched a Sustainable Practice Group to help construction professionals from all disciplines -- owners, facility managers, architects, specifiers, engineers, contractors, product representatives -- share knowledge and develop best practices and skills for managing construction documentation for sustainable projects.
Goals of the CSI Sustainable Practice Group Join the Practice Group!
- Encourage collaboration between CSI professional members to promote best practices for including sustainable practices and green rating system requirements in specifications.
- Establish dialogue between CSI professional and industry members on green products and sustainable building practices.
- Encourage industry members to promote uniform guidelines for declaring the sustainable design characteristics of their products.
