CSI Bylaws Amendments

The membership approved the following Bylaws amendments:

• Article III, Section 6: Authorizes CSI’s Board to conduct meetings via electronic means. 
• Article V, Section 4: Clarifies current and future election practices with regards to the roles of CSI’s election vendor and Tellers Committee.
• Article X, Section 3: Allows for flexibility in the nomination and election of nominees for Distinguished and Honorary Membership with regards to each year’s administrative schedule.
• Article XIII, Section 2: Deletes obsolete introductory membership language in the Bylaws.

While the amendment to Article IX, Sections 1 and 2, which proposed a single “Member” classification received a majority vote, it did not receive the two-thirds vote required for a change in the Bylaws. The current “Professional Member” and “Industry/Associate Member” classifications will remain unchanged.
