This 3-part course provides attendees with an understanding of the importance of specifications in documenting LEED requirements following CSI’s recommended practices and formats. The course also explains the need for an integrated team approach to achieve LEED/sustainable goals on a project and the critical function of the specifier on that team. Attendees will learn how to find, evaluate and specify appropriate green products, materials, systems and construction procedures and, lastly, how to implement these specified techniques during the construction phase.
