General Information
1. What are CSI Webinars?
CSI Webinars are 60- or 90-minute interactive telephone/internet education sessions that provide convenient, quality learning at an affordable price – you’ll be able to see presentation materials, hear an instructor and ask questions in real time.
2. When are CSI Webinars offered?
CSI Webinars typically run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2pm ET. However, not all webinars are scheduled on these days and times.
Pricing and Cancellation Policy
3. How much does it cost to attend a webinar?
CSI Webinars are $75 for members and $95 for non-members. Pricing is per site, not per individual. Special student pricing is also available – please email jnorris@csinet.org with proof of student status for details. There is no limit on how many attendees may participate in a webinar at a particular site -- go ahead and fill the conference room with people.
CSI occasionally offers webinar packages where multiple sessions can be purchased for a reduced price.
4. What is CSI’s cancellation policy?
Full refunds are available until 72 business hours before a webinar. Cancellations received less than 72 business hours in advance are subject to a $25 cancellation fee.

5. How do I register for a webinar?
Visit www.csinet.org and click “Event Registration”. Webinars are listed by date; you may need to scroll to the next page.
If you are a CSI member, log in with your username and password before proceeding to payment. If you do not have a contact record with CSI, select “Register Without Joining," and follow the prompts to create a contact record before proceeding to payment.
6. My company has multiple office locations that would like to attend a webinar. Can we use a single registration for all locations?
Webinar registrations are priced per site. If you have two office locations (or more), you must register each site individually. Ensure that each registration is under a person who will be able to facilitate the presentation at the location being registered registering.
7. How can I register for a webinar in someone else’s name?
CSI recommends that each registration is completed by only the person whose information is being used.
However, you may register for a webinar in someone else’s name in one of two ways.
- If you have a CSI member on staff, you can ask them to provide you with their CSI username and password so that you may login under their name and obtain the CSI member price.
- If the person is not a CSI member, you may choose “Register Without Joining,” where you will be prompted to search for the individual who's name you intend to register under. If that person already has a contact record with CSI, you will find them in your search. If not, you can create a new contact record before proceeding to payment.
8. I registered for a webinar but would like the login details sent to someone else. What do I do?
Webinar details are automatically sent to the email address provided during registration. If there is a specific person in your office who needs these details, please ensure that the registration is placed under their email address and name.
Continuing Education Credits
9. Will every participant from my location receive continuing education credits for attending the webinar?
Yes!
10. How do I ensure that all the staff members of my office receive continuing education credit for attending the webinar?
Webinar registrants will be sent a link to an online session evaluation form. The registrant may forward this link to all webinar attendees from their location. Everyone who completes an online evaluation will receive continuing education credits.
11. Do I need to submit anything to AIA or CSI to ensure my credits are applied?
Nothing needs to be submitted to AIA or CSI to receive continuing education credits other than completing the online session evaluation form.
12. What information does CSI need to submit credits for learners?
To receive PDHs (Professional Development Hours) and AIA CEHs, include your full name, CSI Member number (if applicable), email address and AIA Member number (if applicable). Credits cannot be submitted without this information.
13. How many continuing education credits does this webinar offer?
Webinars typically offer 1.5 PDHs and 1.5 AIA CEHs. Many will also offer HSW credit, and may be eligible for AIA SD (Sustainable Design) credit. Check the individual webinar description for credit information.

15. I haven’t received any directions for logging in to the webinar. What should I do?
Login details are distributed 24 hours before the event by email.
16. I lost the email confirmation with my webinar link. What should I do?

Handouts and Presentation Slides
17. How do I obtain a copy of the presentation slides and/or other webinar handouts?
Presentation slides and additional handouts are distributed as email attachments 24 hours in advance of the webinar. This email will come direct from CSI staff -- look for "@csinet.org" email addresses. Attachments may be up to 5MB in size – if your email server will not accept messages this large in size please email education@csinet.org.
